THE last few years has been seen as a revolution in human sexual behaviour. Some good, others not so good. We have now reached the level where English words have changed their meaning. Marriage used to mean a union between a man and a woman. Today, it means union between two people of the same sex. The West has passed laws making this queer relationship legal. It is too early to know how this would affect children in future. The English word of what two homosexuals do when they say they make love is “buggering”, which is sometimes a synonym for sodomy. That behaviour has been frowned upon for centuries for all kinds of reasons. The “Avengers” star spent more than two weeks in the hospital after the giant 14,000-lb (six-ton) vehicle rolled onto him as he was clearing a driveway. Henry Ojelu In October 2021, the Senate Committee on Interior approved the increase of the daily feeding allowance of the Nigerian Correctional Service, NCoS, from N450 per inmate to a minimum of N1, 000 per day. NCS officials who were at the Senate to defend their 2022 budget had proposed N750 but members of the committee who described the amount as grossly inadequate jerked it up to N1, 000 in line with the current economic reality,When the announcement of the increase was officially made by the Comptroller of NCS, most of the inmates in prisons across the country were ecstatic believing that their daily feeding portion would automatically increase.
